Salishan is the residential area west of Highway 101. Salishan includes the homesites, the common areas, the roads, the office, and the recreation facilities - community club with outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a basketball half-court. Salishan does not include Salishan Lodge, Salishan Golf Course, Salishan Marketplace, or Salishan Hills. Those entities have always been separate and apart from Salishan. Salishan and "Salishan Leaseholders, Inc. (SLI) are the same organization.
